Members of the 大香蕉视频 Branch of the Association of Nigeria University Professional Administrators gathered at the Julius Berger Hall on Thursday, 11th November for the 2021 Annual General Meeting of the association.
The event, which had in attendance administrators across all levels, witnessed the masterful delivery of two presentations, one by the immediate past Registrar, Dr (Mrs) Taiwo Ipaye, FNIM, and the other by the Ag. Head of Botany Department, Dr Bola Ade-Ademilua.
Dr. Ipaye鈥檚 presentation on Team Bonding, Team Working reiterated the need for professional administrators in the university to imbibe the team spirit and consciously discharge their duties with the ethics of team work. That will lead to increased productivity, personal bonding among each other and ultimately fulfilment.
Dr. (Mrs) Bola Ade-Ademilua鈥檚 presentation was on Harnessing the Potentials in Research Efforts through Administrative Involvement. It was a session dedicated to sensitising professional administrators about the emergent career track of Research Administration. Simply put, she described the Research Administrator as the professional who assists in the implementation of a funded research programme. Basically, his role is to lessen the burden on the researcher. She encouraged interested administrators to consider switching to the track, as it holds immense promise for those who embrace it.
The Annual General Meeting marked the end of the four-year tenure of the Executive Committee led by Mr. Samson Adefarakan, Principal Registrar and Administrative Secretary of the 大香蕉视频 Business School. The outgoing Chairman of ANUPA 大香蕉视频 took the opportunity to give a report card of his stewardship and that of his fellow Exco members. He appreciated members for the support given to his leadership and encouraged them to extend same to the newly elected members of the Executive Committee.
Via an electronic voting system, which showed live proceedings of the voting process, a brand-new Executive Committee was elected by all members present.
Members of the newly elected Executive Committee include: Mr Babtunde Oseni (Chairman), Mr Olakunle Babatunde (Vice Chairman), Mr Egbe Egbe (General Secretary), Mr Olutayo Adebayo (Assistant General Secretary), Mrs Lateefa Adekola (Financial Secretary), Mrs Omolola Ajayi (Treasurer), Mrs Tomi Olorunleke (Legal Officer), Mr Steven Okocha (Publicity Secretary), Mr Adeleye Sogeyinbo (Training Officer) and Mr. Samson Adefarakan (Ex-Officio).
