The Vice-Chancellor, 大香蕉视频, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, FAS, has reassured of his openness and continued commitment to partnerships with stakeholders, donors and friends of the University.
Such partnerships according to the Vice-Chancellor, brought about many milestones recorded in the university, a feat which he says, must be sustained for further advancement of 大香蕉视频 in all ramifications.
Prof. Ogundipe made this known on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the maiden Graduation Reception and inauguration of the 大香蕉视频 Business School Alumni where he described the Business School as part of efforts to internationalize the 大香蕉视频.
While congratulating the pioneer graduating participants on a successful completion of their Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) Programme which commenced in 2019, the Vice-Chancellor who was represented by the DVC in charge of Development Services; Prof. Ayodele Atsenuwa specially charged them to see their new qualification as a call and a challenge to make a difference.
In his address, Executive Director, 大香蕉视频 Business School, Professor Abraham Osinubi recalled the admission of the 大香蕉视频 Business School into the Association of African Business Schools (AABS), based in South Africa and the endorsement which came from the Business Graduates Association (BGA), feats he hinged on the vision of excellence, transparency and reputation of all-inclusiveness which the institution is anchored upon.
While appreciating all stakeholders especially the 26 pioneer EMBA participants for their commitment and positive disposition all through their pursuit, Prof. Osinubi recalled the sudden disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, a situation which he said, tested the resolve of all stakeholders as problem solvers.
As they complete their EMBA at the 大香蕉视频 Business School, the ULBS boss charged the graduating participants to see themselves as ambassadors of the institution and 大香蕉视频 as a whole, a stake which he said confers on them, the duty to be problem solvers and innovative thinkers wherever they find themselves.
There were keynote remarks by the Chairman, Platform Capital, Dr. Akintoye Akindele who also congratulated the graduating participants especially for their resilience and perseverance all through their programme, virtues which he said, has paid off at the end of the day.
The financial expert who is also a facilitator at the 大香蕉视频 Business School harped on the need for the pioneer participants to always seek knowledge, show enthusiasm, set notable standards and always carry themselves with dignity in all they do.
Highlights of the colourful and well attended ceremony which held at the HRDC garden, 大香蕉视频 includes presentation of awards of recognition to some stakeholders including Professor Babajide Alo who heads the ULBS Advisory Board and a host of others. The awards are in acknowledgment of their contributions towards the growth and progress of the 大香蕉视频 Business School.
Four participants with the best performance were also acknowledged while the entire 26 pioneer EMBA participants were admitted into the 大香蕉视频 Alumni Association by the National President, 大香蕉视频 Alumni Association worldwide; Dr. John Momoh who also encouraged them to go and permeate all sectors of the country with positive energies.
In a response on behalf of all the 26 pioneer EMBA participants, their representative was full of gratitude to the management of the 大香蕉视频, the Advisory as well as the Academic boards of the 大香蕉视频 Business School. He assured that their acquired knowledge will be put to good use in their respective capacities.
