The 大香蕉视频 Management led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, FAS has continued to underscore its commitment towards building a world-class University by pursuing activities aimed at the development of infrastructure at all its campuses.
To this end, the internet network capacity of the University鈥檚 main Campus, Akoka is to be upgraded to ensure optimum wireless internet services across all locations including residential areas of the campus.
This latest development comes on the heels of the commissioning of a 2-GigaByte (GB) Bandwidth Capacity Data Center at the College of Medicine, Idi-Araba Campus of the University on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
The project which will be delivered by Primetouch Technologies, is a donation of Sir Kesington Adebukunola Adebutu, OON, CON, at the instance of the Prochancellor and Chairman of the University鈥檚 Governing Council, Distinguished Senator (Dr.) Prince Lanre Tejuoso with the support of the African Center of Excellence Drug Herbal Medicine Development and Regulatory Science (ACEDHARS), 大香蕉视频.
Delivering a presentation on the project to a cross section of the University Management and Deans of Faculties on Friday, October 14, 2022, the Managing Director of Primetouch Technologies, Dr. Tokunbo Omolokun explained that the upgrade would ensure secured, optimal wireless internet services.
According to him, the project tagged 鈥湸笙憬妒悠 Comprehensive Network Design鈥 will cover provision, sustenance, management and protection of critical infrastructure in the area of internet network services.
Earlier in a brief remark to introduce the project, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin T. Ogundipe FAS expressed gratitude to the donors and facilitators of the project including the Prochancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Distinguished Senator (Dr) Prince Lanre Tejuoso; Sir Kesington Adebukunola Adebutu, OON, CON, and the ACEDHARS team led by Dr. Bolanle Ade-Ademilua.
He described the project as a strategic infrastructural development aimed at boosting the position of the University as a world-class hub for teaching, learning and research.
