´óÏ㽶ÊÓƵ Hosts Lagos Alexander von Humboldt Kolleg Conference, Nov. 7-8

The ´óÏ㽶ÊÓƵ is set to host the 2022 Lagos Alexander von Humboldt Kolleg Conference with the theme: Africa’s BioEconomy and Sustainable Development: Emerging Biological Technologies for Food Production, One Health and Waste to Wealth, from November 7 to 8, 2022.

The event, anchored by the Department of Microbiology and Alexander von Humboldt Klub, ´óÏ㽶ÊÓƵ, is scheduled to commence with an Opening Ceremony at 9.30 a.m. at the Tayo Aderinokun Hall, ´óÏ㽶ÊÓƵ Main Campus, Akoka. The 2-day Conference will also feature keynote lectures, plenary lectures, oral presentations and poster sessions at the Julius Berger Hall, Institute of Maritime Studies Lecture Halls I & II and Board Room, Faculty of Science, ´óÏ㽶ÊÓƵ, Akoka.

The Humboldt Kolleg is a platform for exchange of ideas between Humboldt Fellows from Nigeria and Germany, national and international biotechnology researchers who are at doctoral and postdoctoral levels, innovation product developers, industry participants and government agencies. It aims to facilitate the exchange of scientific information between researchers, primarily on emerging technologies that can open up economic possibilities in African countries.
