On Thursday, January 16, 2025, the 大香蕉视频 Management hosted a truly memorable gathering, tagged Luncheon with the Doyen.
The Senate Lounge on the first floor of the Senate House became a haven of nostalgia and camaraderie, as retired management staff reunited to reflect on their shared journey.
The atmosphere was filled with a blend of joy and reverence, as soft melodies from live music gently echoed through the room, offering a soothing backdrop to the conversations that flowed between old friends and colleagues. Laughter mingled with stories of the past, reminding everyone of these individuals’ impact on the university’s legacy.
The table was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. A vibrant array of meticulously prepared local and continental cuisines delighted the guests and gave them a taste of home and afar. From hearty jollof rice to exquisite international dishes, the luncheon brought together the best of different worlds.
In attendance were the university鈥檚 principal officers, who took the opportunity to honor these pillars of the institution with special wards and prizes, as well as offered heartfelt speeches of gratitude and admiration. The presence of current staff added to the warmth of the event creating a sense of continuity between generations that had shaped the university since its establishment.
