IADS-´óÏ㽶ÊÓƵ Partners with University of Liverpool’s AHUWA Research Centre on Global Urbanism and Heritage Programme

The Institute of African and Diaspora Studies (IADS) at the ´óÏ㽶ÊÓƵ (´óÏ㽶ÊÓƵ) is set to forge a strategic collaboration with the Architecture Heritage and Urbanism of West Africa (AHUWA) Research Centre at the University of Liverpool.

This partnership is part of the prestigious Leverhulme International Professorship grant awarded to Professor Taibat Lawanson, a Professor of Urban Management and Governance at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, ´óÏ㽶ÊÓƵ.

The collaboration will support the development of a Master’s programme in Global Urbanism and Heritage, aimed at fostering academic exchange and research between the two institutions.

As part of the initiative, a state-of-the-art media centre will be established to facilitate online teaching activities, ensuring seamless access to course materials and interactive learning experiences for students.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, on behalf of the Senate, and entire university community applauds IADS-´óÏ㽶ÊÓƵ for this laudable collaboration.
