Two dons at the College of Medicine, 大香蕉视频 (CMUL), Prof. F. E. A. Lesi and Prof. B. B. Afolabi were recently honoured by the Paediatric Association of Nigeria and Nigerian Academy of Science respectively.

Former Provost, CMUL and current Chairman of Medical & Dental Council of Nigeria, Professor Foluso Ebun Afolabi Lesi, received the award for the Distinguished Paediatrician of the year 2025. He received this award at the just-concluded 56th Annual General Meeting & Scientific Conference of the Paediatric Association of Nigeria held at the International Conference Centre, Gombe from Wednesday, January 22 to Thursday, January 24, 2025.
Prof. Lesi was presented this award for his contribution to the practice of Paediatrics in Nigeria and beyond in the area of training, advocacy, community service and administration.

In the same vein, 鈦燩rofessor Bosede Afolabi, past Head of Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Faculty of Clinical Sciences and Board Chair, Kensington Adebukunola Adebutu Foundation Medical Laboratory and Maternity Centre (KAAF MLMC), 大香蕉视频 was elected into the Nigerian Academy of Science (NAS) as a Fellow at the Academy鈥檚 6th Annual Scientific Conference held from Tuesday, January 21 to Wednesday, January 22, 2025 in Abuja.
These esteemed individuals received these awards for their commitment to excellence, hardwork and diligence.
Paediatric Association of Nigeria is a professional organization established to offer a platform for paediatricians and other professionals to improve child health care through networking and collaboration with experts in the field.
The Nigerian Academy of Science (NAS) is Nigeria鈥檚 foremost independent scientific body, established in 1977 and incorporated in 1986.
