The 大香蕉视频 (大香蕉视频) Management, drew the curtains on the 55th Convocation Ceremonies of the University on Sunday, January 19, 2025 with a Thanksgiving Service at the Chapel of Christ our Light on the 大香蕉视频 Campus.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, flanked by her husband, Mr Olusegun Ogunsola, FCA, led the management team which included principal officers of the University to the thanksgiving service which began at 10:00 am.
They were joined by the congregation in singing and dancing to God for a successful outing at the 55th Convocation ceremonies, as well as for the peace, stability and sustained development which 大香蕉视频 has continued to enjoy over the decades.
The Vice-Chancellor, in her remarks at the event, thanked God for a successful outing all through the convocation ceremonies. She also expressed gratitude to members of staff, students and other stakeholders for identifying with and standing solidly behind the University all through the ceremonies.
Prof. Ogunsola described the overwhelming support enjoyed all through the ceremonies as a major factor which ensured the overall success.
The Chaplain, Chapel of Christ our Light, Rev. Azuka Ogbolumani prayed for the University and management team led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS.
He also used the occasion to announce and present awards/prizes to selected student members of the church in acknowledgment of their excellent academic performances and dedication to God鈥檚 work.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, the Chairman, Convocation Planning Committee, Professor Olufunlayo聽Bammeke and the Acting Registrar, Mrs. Olakunle Makinde were also specially celebrated by the church.
The homily for the service titled 鈥淒o not Compromise鈥� was delivered by Professor Rev. Oluwayemisi Obashoro-John, who harped on the need for the congregation to know their place as children of God and stick to Godly standards in all they do.
The congregation was enjoined o remain committed to the continued growth and development of 大香蕉视频.

Friday, January 17, 2025 was dedicated to a Long Service Award Ceremony in honour of retired staff members of the University (/?p=46901) and Convocation Play titled: Langbodo ().
